For 35+ years Marcel has passionately shared his innovative, expertise and experience coaching athletes and teams, in the pursuit of skating fast . . . Olympic gold medal fast.

Coach Marcel developed the MPower Skating Method* for elite hockey and ringette players from Club to Junior, National Team and NHL players. Marcel energetically delivers, systematic, deliberate on-ice and off-ice creative technical coaching to increase player’s #1 skill; SKATING.

Marcel Lacroix is a skating expert, coach mentor and skating equipment inventor, with many distinctions of honour:

MPower Coaching Team

The MPower Skating team of coaches are trained by Marcel Lacroix, ChPC in the MPower Skating Coaching Method*.

MPower coaches are also provided coach mentorship in the areas of technical skills, observation, communication and emotional intelligence. This includes deliberate practice plans and developmentally appropriate coaching practices.

Every MPower Skating coach has a unique and accomplished skating background. Coaches are carefully selected to provide positive skating instruction to enhance your player’s development.

I lead the MPower Coaching Team to identify and understand; how to coach the intricacies and complexities required to coordinate, in unison, all parts of the body into an efficient skating movement.
