Participation Guidelines

MPower Skating Player and Parent, Guidelines and Facility Requirements Agreement

The following participation guidelines must be followed:

  • Throughout your MPower Skating Program it is the responsibility of each participant to provide updates with regards to contact information, injuries or changing health concerns via email info@MPowerSkating.com or verbally, prior to each ice session.

  • Please respect all posted facility rules and dressing room assignments.

  • No cell phone use in locker rooms.

  • All sanctioned protective equipment must be worn on the ice as required by your sport governing body for example; IHA, ISU, Hockey Canada, Ringette Canada, Speed Skating Canada.

  • Please provide your own personally labeled water bottle. No sharing of water bottles.

  • Please leave all valuables at home! Do not leave any valuables in your vehicle. Vehicle break-ins frequently occur at recreation facilities.

  • Although our ice times are confirmed, please be aware that if adjustments are required, for any reason, communication of ice changes will be sent via email.

The following participation facility requirements must also be followed:

  • Facilities continue to amend requirements to comply with current local public health measures and City Bylaws.

  • Prior to arriving, please self-monitor for illness. Please do not enter the building if you have been in close contact with a person testing COVID-19 positive or are presenting any COVID-19 symptoms; fever, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, runny nose, loss of sense of smell or taste.

  • Participants and Spectators are asked to follow current mask and social distancing requirements posted at the scheduled facility you are participating in.

  • Full responsibility falls upon each person who enters the facility. You are entering the building and participating in MPower Skating at your own risk.

  • By choosing to enter the scheduled facility and arena, you are accepting the above requirements and guidelines for participation and release the facility and MPower Skating coaches and associates from all liability, including those related to COVID-19.

  • We are facility guests, please clean up after yourself and inform your coach if you have any facility concerns.
